Kino no Tabi

Kino no Tabi
aka Kino's Journy
aka Kino's Travels

This is probably one of the most surprisingly excellent series I've found. It's only 13 episodes and most of them are stand-alone. It's very philosophical at times, with some nice action thrown into the mix too.

Plot: The story follows the travels of Kino, a young adventurer who rides a talking motorcycle named Hermes. They explore the people and cultures of different places throughout their adventures, spending only three days at each location.

I know that sounds sort of lame, but it's excellent. They travel to various countries with various mentalities about the world, like a country strictly governed by The Majority Rule, or another where they can read each other's minds, so therefore everyone is terrified to leave their house. And the talking motorcycle isn't nearly as weird as I thought it might be when I started watching.

I watched the whole series on YouTube. They might still be up if you don't want to download it.

This is easily on my top five list of all-time favourite animes.

What's the "No" anyway.
So many Japanese-American things are something or another No something or another.
I molested myself the other day. I said "No!" , but I knew I really wanted it.

I think it's a possessive article - I always translate it as "of" in my head.
