Long time no see...

I cant seem to find a "General WoW Chat" area here so I figured I would post here first and accept any harsh penalties for doing so at a later time...

HELLO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE EXILED!!! Man, I have sure missed you guys and have been out of touch with the online gaming world for quite some time now. Well, until about a month and a half ago when I got all three Guild Wars games. At every town and outpost, big and small, I shouted and whispered to anyone that would listen, inquiring about old EQoA players from Diren Hold. I hoped, although I knew the chances were slim to none, that I would encounter an old friend there. Alas, my search was in vain. I beat two of the three GW games and much to my dismay realized that you get what you pay for and with no monthly fees, GW's just lacked the content and gameplay I desired.

So just the other day I was at Best Buy, parusing the shelves when I ran into a rather friendly clerk. We started talking about MMORPG's and he vehemently stood by WoW. I spoke of my old guildmates and although he had never met anyone from The Exiled, he strongly encouraged me to get the game. I'll be honest...I was kinda giddy with excitement when I brought the game, it's expansion, and a fresh game card home and began the installation process...

"NOT ENOUGH RAM!" it tells me...bah, install that bad dude anyway. Thankfully, I have enough ram and plenty to spare. So there I am, contemplating my future on a game that you all have already bested (for the most part) wondering if it's lost it's lustre at all...Then I have to choose a server. Where do I go? What's the chance that the server where ALL of my old friends and guildies are on is completely FULL? I still don't know! Right now, I'm so excited to be on your website that I can't remember what server I'M ON!

Anyway, I'm an official WoW person now, albeit about a year and a half late. I hope you all are doing great...Plage, Trench, Nonfiction....Rayne, Ithryn, Mike...I only know you by your old EQoA names, but I see some of you here on the roster. Man, you guys were right...this game is worth every penny so far and I should have listened all those months ago.

Servers are down right now, but I hope to hear from some, if not all of you...sorry if I forgot anyone, you know ol BD's memory sucks to high heaven. I currently have a 14 Undead Mage and I'm having a blast. Post here (if appropriate) or email me at selvendar0515@yahoo.com.

Come to REXXAR!

Its not hard to start over and if you really don't want to from a low level you can pay to transfer a character over in your account management section of your account via the worldofwarcraft.com website. In this game there is a few websites to keep into consideration while questing, www.thottbot.com and www.wowwiki.com . You will see that those are your best friends! If you need any help we are here to aid you, and when you get on just look for one of our fellow officers or even guildies and see about getting an invite to the guild! If you are a true old schooler indeed I will see you this evening in guild chat!

Sup BD come to Rexxar! Lots of oldschool eqoa folk play plus we got some pretty cool people. Rayne, Mikeablah, Ithryn, Nonfiction, Trench, XxSephiroxX(lol), Ariella, Vapor, Kordolin, Vathral, Eviell, Falln etc and more Im sure im missing a lot.

We kinda died down on hardcore blowing through content so we havent really even come close to conquering the game.

I have actually found the most use of thottbot for coords and quest chain following, just seems really easy and its not hard on the dialup when I look at it. Yea, thats right, im on dialup!

On high speed thottbot is buggy and slow, too many people using it and not enough bandwidth on their part.
