Coming back: Yes or no?

So, I was sitting there right.. on AOL, cybering some girl, when I thought.. "Goddamnit, Chris.. remember how awesome was BC when you were busting ass to 70?"

So, of course, I replied and said.. "Yes, it was freakin' awesome. The only problem was, I played a hunter, hate every other class, and got fucking bored sitting LFG for three hours since I wasn't a priest or warrior."

So, I went back to cybering that girl.

But then.. a few days ago, a guy I know on another server (he plays a filthy Night Elf) was telling me about WoW shit, bitching at how his rogue got nerfed again. After laughing at him, I checked out the patch notes for 2.1.0 and said to myself.. "Chris, maybe now's a good time to check back into playing WoW again?"

And then, I replied and said.. "Yeah fuckin' right, every guild has like 20 fucking hunters, and it's balls waiting all AFK and shit."

So, I said.. "Chris.. come on now, you can at least ask and see how shit is. Don't be a pussy."

And I agreed with myself. So, is it a good time to come back to the game as a hunter? I swear to fucking god I'm not rerolling a BE priest or any other gay class. I hate the levelling from 1-70 more than anyone in the game. If not, I guess I can check back in a few months... just bored, but I don't wanna be bored and still paying $15 a month.

With the new content patch and much shit to work towards, I would be doing quests if there is not a Kara spot or whatever. Kara is not a necesseity (only the key is) for the furthur 25 man content. I myself have yet to REALLY see the likes of Kara, have been there for a few bosses. The amount of quests there are to do though make this game so that there shouldn't be ANYONE that has to sit around afk and wait on anything. The new patch is also bringning new dungeons and a WHOLE new faction to work twards. I say fuck yea come back, but don't expect to just be "thrown" into a group of people doing kara. I am still not in a set group for that place, but I am on a backup roster. Just gotta get my damn computer working again.

As far as how backup goes, well with my experience you can do whatever the hell you want. With the summoning portal and everything, you can be put right in front of the instance in a matter of seconds at the cost of no shard to the warlock.

The game has still not changed though, there are no tanks and 86 claims to be a priest thats always willing to go somewhere, but its hard pressed finding him online. So truthfully, you will be still bitching about groups not being able to be formed, but that is where the solo shit comes in. Hell, I am soloing a lot of quests and I am a rogue. So I would think as a hunter you could solo twice the shit that I have been able to. Now get your account back working and get your ass back in the game!

Give it a shot. Reup for 1 month and see how it goes.

I just started back up and have been playing a drood. Theyre pretty fun, and I can actually kill warlocks and hunters in PvP

Give it a month. If youre still not into it, you can always go back to cybering with Aldara on aol

I have been a fan of leveling alts when I get bored. Sure it leaves my main a little underplayed, but I never stay bored. I also love to know what the other classes are capable of. Come back, give it a shot

it kinda depends on what you wanna do. Is you ultimate goal in life to have a raid slot in a 25 man raid? Do you just wanna go out and have fun? Like cybering with BE females played by dudes? (BTW 90% of girls who wanna cyber are actually dudes... lol)

Theres a ton of stuff to do at lvl 70. Heck, you can start up a profession like leatherworking/skinning and make your own epics. If you are good enough, you can run lots of heroics to get more epics, prestige, honor, and all that.

PvP has more options too. You could always spec BM and go dominate in arena too.

Coming from a hunter ill offer this .....

I am currently in group FOUR of kara and we are doing hella good imo but we are the fourth group to go in there from the exiled and lotta ppl had a chance to get in there b4 i did. Before Kara though i NEVER sat AFK looking for a group or any of the other bullshit ppl cry about that are not a healer or tank class. Yes i was frustrated about not raiding kara but there is a TON to do that is BETTER than kara. get your ass keyed for heroics and get better gear from them than you do from kara anyway. Simply take and START a group and find a tank or healer. I was under the impression that members other than the guild ones sucked ( while some do yes not all do ) and swore off pugs but found out that it was the wrong thing to do.

If you wanna sit there and complain about something do what i did .... get your ass in gear and make your OWN groups instead of wasting time crying about this or that and take matters into your own hands. hell even before i stepped foot in kara my hunter was gathering up the best blue gear i could and was keeping up right along with kara geared hunters in arena/25mans/5mans.

all comes down to this i guess LESS FUCKING QQ MORE FUCKING PEWPEW! just do something to make your toon better.

There is a difference in having a lot of a class in a guild and having a lot of that class that is active. we have hunters yes but how many are TRULY active? maybe 4 or 5? and almost NEVER at the same times.

My ultimate goal was always to raid. I never cyber girls on WoW cuz of that very thing. Raid/5 man > soloing & pvp.

Already have enchanting and herbalism for cash. Enchanting crapped out about 355-360, can't remember, and each point after costs about 100g or so lol.

I tried that "making my own group" thing and most of the time ended up with 2 other DPS and a healer OR tank. Sucked balls. It's nothing like 5-10 mans before the expansion.

I may give it a shot. Still unsure.

hi im Crawlpappy, and i hate kara. im just waiting for faster clears to complete my quests, its stupid time consuming and the trash arent worth the subpar epix that drop. heroics and rep are more important to me, im gearing up my characters in arena and other means. players who think Kara is endgame can just stay the hell aways from here, cause its a little piece of the puzzle. look at our casters and their gear, is it all tier 4? is it all uber kara epix? hells no its from tailoring.

dude do what you feel you want to do, you knew coming into this guild we had way to many hunters as it was, and now we have way to many dps and ppl banging on my door to start a 5th kara group and im not giving it a second of thought, im not recruiting more players to get pissed when 25 man time comes and they dont have a raid spot, im sure most will whine and complain more and now i really dont care anymore, i log on not to raid, but to play WoW with my friends, to pvp, be alone to farm and quest, and if needed ill raid, im a sub and im the guilds GM, if i can sit on the sidelines and im on more then most im never bored, i always run heroics, i always play arena im in 6 teams on 2 characters and get in all my games and am now getting the gear from it all. you dont need kara to play, you dont have to have the guild always make a grp for you. i pug more then most guildless ppl i know, others can as well..

welcome to come and play, but realize it is what it is, you in an overpopulated class within a guild overpopulated with dps, and thats how the entire server is, like it or not..
