We are complete idiots for living here in the -40 F, my deepfreez is warmer than the temperate outside. Did you know -40 degrees F is where ferenhright and celcius meet -40 F = -40C COLD

-49 degrees is the actual temperature they meet.
Its based off of the freezing point of Mercury.

actually, its -40. And -49 is not the freezing point of mercury.

It's fine, it keeps the un-wanted out of the state, it's actually nice and peaceful outside when it's that cold. I grew up on a farm, it was always nice to get dressed up to go for a walk, or throw on the x-country ski's and take advantage of the solitude. Call me crazy, but I love those temps!
