I just got back from Las Vegas where I was attending an Industry show. ( LDI )

I have to say I was not impressed with the scene, I saw too many people crying over lost money.

My thoughts: Gambling is for suckers, and I'm proud to say I didn't gamble one dime.

Betting on games and races is different, but pushing $20's into machines that randomly make your fate, no thanks.

you go to vegas for the drinking, shows, and socialization imo =P not the dropping a thousand or so in slots.

I agree , I did love the titty bars and I did get a little culture in too.

I was lucky enough to hit a bar where the contest was a "Sara Palin contest" LOL. That was fun!

I also saw a Cirque du Soleil show "O" at the Bellagio.

Now this was my first Cirque show and a very good first IMO.
