No, but I'm not a big fan of fighting in hockey.
A kid on my high school team, good friend of mine, almost got expelled because someone took a really stupid cheap shot on him after he made a relatively clean hit on him. In the high school league I played in fighting was really looked down upon and if you even threw a punch you got kicked out of the game and suspended for a few games. This kid has a temper so he retaliated... similiar incidents had happened before so my school had to step in... Because I went to a Catholic high school they dont appreciate this sort of thing, and this incident in particular ended up in the Washington Post in the highlight article for the game (the Post has a few pages in the Sports section for High School sports), so it's bad press, and gives the school a bad image, if you see my meaning. that's why the school had to step in. While some of the other fights he had been in he started, but this one was BS. In the end nothing happened to him in terms of school discipline except he was suspended for the next game by the league, but that was expected. But for a while they were talking about expelling him.
I don't like glorifying this sorta stuff. Though I admit it's sorta interesting, and you dont see goalies go at it all that often. Well honestly I don't like fighting in any sport, though in hockey it's sorta accepted and even expected, especially in the NHL.
For the record, I'm a Washington Caps fan.
Sorry for the derail.

As a BIGGER SIDE NOTE -----> OILERS got rid of SMYTH. Their highest scorer and face of the oilers is gone to the Islanders for some 1st round draftpicks and prospects. Oilers = idiots. But I hate the team, so thats fine.
Long as Montreal doesn't win I'm happy.....if Toronto even gets into the playoffs I'll be even happier.
