In my boredom today I began watching the Lord of the Rings movies and being a multitasker, I remembered they were making an LOTR mmorpg. Apparently the game is to be released sometime this year. I was wondering if anyone has played the beta or heard any more about the game play itself.

I just want to know if it will be any good. :d

I think Turbine so fucked up DDO that I'm not even going to bother with another one of their projects. I found DDO so bad, they don't get a second chance.

in other news they are opening LOTRO for beta, i signed up but i dunno if ill get to be on the team. I hope so that would be kinda neat i never beta tested a game before
