woot
Thanks again. I love that song. She's a 41 year old genious. here's the lyrics : Yoko Kanno - Inner Universe
((Vocalization))
Angeli i demoni kruzhili nado mnoj
Rassekali ternii i mlechnye puti
Ne znaet schast'ya tol'ko tot
Kto ego zova ponyat ne smog
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, Aeria gloris
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, aeria gloris
I am calling, calling now
Spirits rise and falling
S toboi ostatsa dol'she
Calling, calling, in the depth of longing
S toboi ostat'sya dol'she
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, aeria gloris
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, aeria gloris
Stand alone . . . Where was life when it had a meaning . . .
Stand alone . . . Nothing's real anymore and . . .
Beskoneshnyj beg . . .
Poka zhiva, ya mogu starat'sya na letu ne upast'
Ne razuchit'sya mechtat' . . . lyubit' . . .
. . . Beskoneshnyj beg . . .
Calling, calling, for the place of knowing
There's more than what can be linked
Calling, calling now, never will I look away
For what life has left for me
Yearning, yearning, for what's left of loving
S toboi ostat'sya dol'she
Calling, calling now, spirits rise and falling
S oboi ostat'sya dol'she
Calling, calling, in the depth of longing
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she . . .
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, Aeria gloris
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, aeria gloris
((Translation))
Angels and demons were circling above me
Cutting thorns and Milky Way
Don't know happiness from
Who knew it but couldn't give it
Watch in awe
Watch in awe
Aeria gloris
Aeria gloris
Watch in awe
Watch in awe
Aeria gloris
Aeria gloris
I am calling, calling now
Spirits rise and falling
To stay with you longer
Calling, calling in the depth of longing
To stay with you longer
Watch in awe
Watch in awe
Aeria gloris
Aeria gloris
Stand alone . . . Where was life when it had a meaning . . .
Stand alone . . . Nothing's real anymore and . . .
Neverendless run
While I'm alive, I can try to fall in flight
Not to forget how to dream... to love
Neverendless run
Calling, calling, for the place of knowing
There's more than what can be linked
Calling, calling now, never will I look away
For what life has left for me
Yearning, yearning, for what's left of loving
To stay with you longer
Calling, calling now, spirits rise and falling
S oboi ostat'sya dol'she
Calling, calling, in the depth of longing
Soboj ostat'sya dol'she . . .
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, Aeria gloris
Nalybuites' nalyubuites
Aeria gloris, aeria gloris
Yea they had a young operetic boy singing the Latin part. Must be one of those gregorian castrata singers.
I do believe the english part is Japanese concert alto and sopranos' best attempt at the english language being sung, but Nalyvuites? ( you can hear him pronounce the V when he sings)
Is there a spanish word like that?
How does "watch in awe" translate into Spanish?
reloj in temor is simplest way I know. (Did I spell that right?) In the 1400 or w/e years the spanish language has separated from latin, a lot has changed but less so in spanish than french or italian.
I think the very 2nd line is Slavic.
Are you SURE none of that is Japanese with long vowel sounds and short quick constanants?
Idk.
I was right about the fact that a genious wrote this.
I took 6 years of music theory. When I heard that , I knew she had the best of the best vocals. Kinda wierd hearing complex chord progressions with nothing but electronic instruments and top of the line vocals like that.
She's 41 years old and OMG you see how bad ass her resume looks? She's probably a goddess in Japan. Concert pianist on top of it all.
Anyway, like or lump techno this is like the Mona Liza imo.
So if anyone but me or Mike can possibly stay attentive long enough to read all this, here's something you can reply :
Damn mallek. I knew you took 15 years of Bluegrass.. but music theory? LOL you better go back to your banjo son!
or:
Yea you like the young boy singing part fag!
