The various stages of ReadingDeathNoteManga:

1. SQUEE! This show's awesome, and I can't wait a year to see it all!
2. Damn! The manga's awesome! L's my hero!
3. Wow. They sure spend a lot of time thinking and planning... but that's okay since it rocks.
4. OH MY GOD!!! Did they just....? This story's AWESOME!
5. Oh... this next arc isn't as good as that last one. Let's see where it goes.
6. Who the hell are these guys?
7. Yawn.
8. More thinking, plotting and planning?
9. Still MORE thinking, plotting and planning?
10. It's recently come to my attention that people are stupid.
11. Oh my god. This story's awesome.

So far the anime's following the manga pretty closely. I wouldn't mind seeing them change/skip a few parts. But since it follows so precisely the anime doesn't excite me the way it used to. So that's my warning.

That said, let me know what you think of the story if you get around to reading it.

ok wtf happend, episode 18ish umm light=kira............but.........what he just...i'm what? Why did he just sent ryuk away and whos kira now? i don't getttttttttttttttttttt itttttttttttttt

I was so hardcore for the show until that happened, this is some of the best writing i've ever seen.

haha ray i was like that at 1st when the show started. those eps was like WHOA but u have to keep watching it to understand wat Light is doing
