was talking to some big wig that works at one of those concrete box stores, and he is sayin that when windows releases there service pack 1 it will include code so you can play xbox game son your computer..............he also said/heard that Vista was a ploy because it supposed to be for the xbox platform.........

any one eles have any insite to this????? that is gonna be so sick if it turns out to be true.

Make sure you make the difference between Xbox and Xbox360.

There will be playability between Xbox360 and PC users.

so it is true?I will beable to play xbox 360 games on my comp???? that is hella bad ass. I just bought a 50 inch samsung and with my comp playin xbox games.....im never leaving home......

X-box games: Just like computer games, but with worse graphics and simplistic controls!

(some of the 360 games are pretty sweet tho)

Is this anybody can do this or do you have to own a xbox360 then like put in your serial number or something to play them? I want fable 2 but i dont want a xbox360.

You won't be able to play Xbox or Xbox 360 games made for the console. You'll still have to buy versions of the game for the PC but you'll be able to play Xbox 360 players with the Games for Windows Live gaming service.

Yeah what Cuda said is how I understand it. Consider if Blizzard agreed to release WoW on Xbox 360. I'm not sure if this game is a good example or not, but it atleast gets the functionality across. The players with the Xbox 360 would play on the same game that the PC users play, so you'd have Xbox users possibly running around on our server and such.

They are just making it possible for their PC game base and Xbox 360 game base to play games against each other is how I understand the whole situation.

I think the guy at the store was just dreaming, misunderstood, or is smoking some great stuff.

Then again, maybe I am, too.

i dunno, he also said he is selling the USB Xbox360 controllers. if it where just to cross server action the pc-xbox seem like a waste of time, but w/e still pretty cool there making it so every one can play together one way or another.

The Xbox360 USB controllers are a totally different thing. Just like buying a game-pad, but its a comfortable and familiar controller instead of some Madpawz thing or whatever.
