I want to clarify something - I posted here to give thanks to The Exiled. I no longer have access to the private forums (understandably) so I couldn't post there. Besides I really wanted to thank Team 3.

There seems to be a nasty rumor going around that I quit because I was mad at not being put into a raid. This is not true. I did sign up for the raid - - but I didn't even log on until well after the raid had started. I sign up for raids so that the raid leaders will know that I am available if needed. Honestly - - as I have stated - I'm not really interested in raiding. I would rather not spend 6 hours of my weekend days sitting in front of the computer listening to what goes on when raiding. I think the Exiled is basically a wonderful bunch of people. I chose not to continue because of the fact that the guild is now turning its focus on raiding progression and it became clear to me that I personally didn't want to hear or deal with the negativity and criticism that is dished out. Personal choice. I'm told that it is necessary to spur action and attention. I suppose this is true and it seems to work for the guild as The Exiled members do kick ass and they do accomplish what they set out to do. I do not need to be screamed at or belittled in order to try my ever-lovin best to work with the group and do what is expected of my character. My time here just ran its course I suppose. Maybe I just grew out of it idk.

I thank you all - going waaay back to the Art and Daisy days of EQOA - - for allowing me to be a part of The Exiled. It has been fun. Stay strong and keep on showing the WoW community that being an Exiled member is something to envy.

Sorry to see ya go Evie. You are a great person. About the "screaming and criticism" I'm pretty guilty of loosing my temper but its hard so many times we have tried "the nice guy" approach but it never never works. Take saturday we litterally told people for 10 minutes calmly without yelling or anything not to click the mobs in mag's room and not 30seconds later someone clicked the mob. I really lost it then. It's so hard people have really lost focus people come to raids sometimes more interested in goofing in vent or to fool around.

We want people to be serious to take the game seriously when we raid. Its really hard for officers to keep their cool when people just dont listen unless they are "screamed" at. The raid size getting smaller means that those people in a raid have to carry their weight and there is less room for error. Most of these encounters need everyone in the raid to do multiple things at the same time.

What I'm trying to say is loosing our tempers and having to constantly tell people what to do isnt fun for us. But the way things were going constantly wiping over and over becuase people wont listen isnt very fun either. If you ever change your mind and want to give the guild another chance maybe we can meet ya halfway, but unfortunatly we arent going to tollerate asshat behavior and cant use the nice guy approach any longer. We will tell people when they arent living up to expectatons.

Once again I post alongside my beloved Eviell. What can I say? I joined The Exiled also way back in the day nearly 5 years ago at the same time she did and have had a thing for her "healer lovin" ever since. (heh can you blame me?).

Now to also squash rumors and that this seem to be a hot topic. I don't care about my raid spot. I turned down raid invites because I was pretty sick of it. I just lost the drive to raid.

Being a dick and yelling is sometimes necessary . Kreskin, you usually blow up at times when the entire raid is pissed off too. It gets frustrating for everyone! I would say you do it when it is needed. But honestly a lot of the other yelling and belittling is so over the top and ridiculous. Most of us are adults here and don't need to be lectured. IMO if someone is messing up over and over then talk to them... make suggestions... help them improve. Just overall general threats to the raid group is not a way to do things. Yelling out I dont care what is going on just FIX IT! Is not the way to do things... Personally I ignored the rants and laughed to myself how idiotic people sound. I think it slows progression because it doesnt light a fire under their ass... it just makes people stop caring.

I think I know Eviell well enough to say that she wasn't feeling particularly singled out and picked on. It is the whole vibe of the raiding experience that has turned to feel negative and combative. I guess it just got old listening to it when we remember logging in and having a BLAST - Team 3 reminded us of this.

I had years of fun and met some very great friends here.

ugh... im glad im taking a long break or the game would be boring with out you eviell and falln, because i had alot of fun with you guys, questing/exploring/group and help each other out... btw eviell thank you for the bags you made me, they really helpful and it was a nice gift. wish ya a good luck

Funny thing is though - through all of the insults about me being so old and having to wear Depends - there is a glimmer (JUST A GLIMMER) of some kinda I-could-be-a-nice-guy-if-I-wanted-to.

One thing is for sure though - he might bitch and complain and grumble and growl - but you can tell that he loves his Aamrie

I guess that is why he is tolerable. <3 Aamrie (ok and Sarkam too)!!
