Fantasy Football

Anyone doing it? I joined a league and I'm scared I won't know who to draft, and the draft is on Monday! I'm going to select Michael Vick first in the draft just for laughs.

Im in one league with family and friends. Its pretty fun I think.

Pick running backs first, they get the ball the majority of the time. I like to have 2 solid runningbacks starting for me. After that, go for a decient quaterback. Vick might not be the best pick, but whatever works for ya. I tend to go after recievers last. The difference in points between the top recievers and the middle of teh road guys isnt all that much, and theres quite a few to pick from.

K, good running back, decent QB, and a decent wide reciever. sounds easy.

Heres my starting lineup for the 2007 season of fantasy fooooooooooootballll

QB-Romo
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Lee Evans
RB-Shaun Alexander
TE-Shockey
W/R-Joey Galloway
W/R-Clinton Portis
K-Lindell
DB-Nate Clements
DB-Nick Colins
DL-Jared Allen
DL-Paul Posluszny

Its not a awesome 100% win team, but I got a decent chance of going a good distance. Should be fun. 4 hour draft last night was killer though.

Ive always found that the difference between a winning season and a loosing season is who you pick up off the free agent list after the draft. Your guys are gonna get hurt. If you can pick up some good replacements, youll be fine.

If John Kitna is available, grab him! he'll be throwing all season. Even with tatum Bell, their running game isnt all that good. But they have 3 really good receivers and their 4th isnt a slouch by any means either.

I've been reading up and against all my better thoughts i picked up Rothlisberger from free agency. They say hes looking good and is back to super bowl form. So hes a good number 2 i think.

As much as I hate him because hes a steeler, hes a good pick up. They have a new offensive coordinator that changed them to a throwning offense. But watch him close. If he stinks in the 1st couple weeks, Id dump him. He has a history of throwing alot of ints whan hes required to throw alot.
