# Albert Belle

Now theres a shocker! This is the same idiot that chased down a couple kids in his explorer on halloween, and threw a baseball at a cameraman hitting him in the chest. He has quite a few other tirades in his career, but these were a couple of his more epic ones.

The only guy thats kind of suprising is David Bell. Youd think if he were juicin, hed have a few more homers to his credit.

You can be so juiced that you look like a tauren and benchpress 2 tons but..... you still have to put the bat on the ball.

its interesting how the hitters get all of the attention for the roids and the pitchers who use it .... doesn't seem to get the air time....

so if a pitcher have been using as well over the "era" why do we single out one or two sluggers with an " * " ??

its a total shame.... sosa and mcguire ( ripkin as well with the "streak" ) .. on juice or not saved baseball after the last strike... bottom line => baseball was the enabler here. They knew what was happening but liked the checks !!!

With hitters, the result is more noticeable. Sure, he has to put the bat on teh ball, but those lazy fly balls that would be caught in mid-right field, are now finding their way over the fence. And those balls that just barely made it over, or were caught on teh track, are now 450ft homers.

Where with pitchers, they wernt taking them to get bigger and throw harder. They were taking them to recover from injuries faster.

A perfect example is Paul Byrd vs Sammy Sosa. Paul Byrd threw 85mph his whole career, before and after using hgh. He didnt suddenly find himself throwing 95 mph and becoming a power pitcher. But Sammy came into a season, after hitting 36 HRs the year before, hits 66.

Imo, its the difference between use and abuse.
