Best love song of the 50's

Post by Gorethud »

Turn your volume down and don't look at the video... Just listen
Close your eyes .. One of My top 5 of the 19th century, right there with Carl Orff:

Now, about Carl Orff, he was the first person to break the rule: Never use parallel octaves..
You ever hit a note on your xylophone or w/e, then hit the same note but way higher?
That's referred to as " The octave".. Same note but higher.. Anyway. it's a musical no- no
Never parallel octaves in the same course, but Carl Orff said " Fuck that.. Imma make a masterpiece.. Hence the tune:

Carl was more of an instructor than a musician.. He worked his ASS off tho..
When asked" When do you find time to write.. He inadvertantly says" When you are asleep"
Awesome.. My guitar teacher always told me " No ammount of 'natural ' talent can possibly make up for hard work.
I molested myself the other day. I said "No!" , but I knew I really wanted it.
