Look at my new nerd toy! (n52te SpeedPad)

Post by Redrum »

Man I was so bored at work today...I started surfing the web and spending money...

so I bought this monstrosity,

http://www.belkin.com/pressroom/release ... n52te.html

I like the idea of all those keybindings at hand, since wotlk we have so many damn spells. Problem is I dont think this is going to hack it. so I plan on trying it for a week and returning it if it dosnt have enough buttons. (Or f its just a complete waste of $)

Yes, I gave it a good 8 hours this weekend and it looks much cooler than it is. For starters its supposed to be adjustable and I couldn't figure out how to do that, so it was uncomfortable.

The #15 key , or the "spacebar" was totally unresponsive, you had to apply quite a bit of pressure in just the right spot to make it work.

The Dpad is wanking uncomfortable and awkward, as was the second "mouse wheel".

This thing is definitely more oriented for a FPS , Counterstrike thing, but even then its just all flash, not any real useful functions.
