This is a level of mutilation that can't be healthy on any level. Mentally...to each his own but if it goes this far it suggests something else is going on there. Physically, just the risk for infection is nothing short of fucking horrifying.

I have always been interested in what I will call old world tattoo styles and have always wanted to get something done along the lines of the african tribal sacrification where they cut the skin in a controlled manner to control the scar and make It look like a small pattern of lizard or alligator skin but not to the extent in the picture of course.
