FF XIV

Hello long lost friends, those that are left of you anyway. It's been a while. Anyone been looking into Final Fantasy XIV? I have been checking it out and it looks pretty good. I would love to have some exiled back in a FF game where I first met them. Rumours of a beta release sometime between now and the end of Oct have me excited.

Anyone else?

didnt hear about a beta, been checking out the Aion beta, patch is screwed up atm but its a fun game

sweet, im gonna dl that now, likely can't play it on this pc but its worth a shot.

The FFXIV beta is a rumour. They have ads up for GM's which is the biggest hint at when it will start. THey have also mentioned that it could start before 2010 and they want a beta longer than FFXI but shorter than WoW so I think that is somewhere between 7-8 months long. put the release right in mid 2010 which is the best guestimate for when they plan it.

I havent played wow for a while but Ive been keeping up on this game, looks pretty damn good to where ill probly check it out.. . this time on a more american server, gay jps and their super fast cheat NM macros. i think we both know doodles has been jackin it for 24hours a day over the tarus

Hey, I found one. just register with fileplanet and search that site. I am playing and its actually pretty awesome. I am going to pick it up asap when it comes out. we should level then cp

Yeahhh FFXIV was pretty surprising, def will get into what I missed with FFXI if 14 looks good.

I dont trust squarenix not to slam their tiny japanese cocks in my ass again. I wish I had time for any mmo but will have to stick to xboxlive.

Not gonna pretend like ff11 wasnt heavily favored for the jps. hopefully they have some sort of NA onry server. that way we can use words like orz all we want lol. gonna wait and see how casual/hardcore it is, based on the little run down of the class system seems like you can switch pretty seamlessly. the visuals do like damn good though.

I'd check out a 2nd FF MMO, if I can wrangle the time, maybe...and like Faiten and Kreskin said, no Japanese pencil cocks this time around please. On the other hand, that new Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO looks hot too.

There WILL be jp players, but they won't be lording over us like alien oppressors this time because the game is releasing simultaneously in all regions instead of going out in Japan like 6-12 months earlier. I think that the NA/JP problem will be minimized this time around. Also, Faiten, Kreskin... I need you two there... I need... you.

Well star wars marketing will wait till FF and cataclysm to duke it out no doubt. Then release after that hoopla dies down...
