Who's got the most mana?

Question is, which job at level 60 has the most mana without considering gear? I do realize that classes all have abilities that raise the size of their mana pool, but we can get around that with a little thing called math! (I think! I do have a calculator)

When I log on I'll strip and figure out my base mana pool (or I could just look at the cost of my "base" spells.

I've also wondered if there is much difference in stats between different races. Basically I am bored because of this update.

Night Elf Druid with 5/5 Heart of the Wild would probably have the best mana pool.

I have a chart with starting stats broken down by race/class at home, I'll post it some time this evening.

i would think gnome/caster cuz of there 10% increase in intell

Feral druid with 5/5 hotw gets a 20% increase in intel.

Okay, the tallys are in...

Priest >Mage > Warlock > Shaman > Druid > Hunter

Undead > Orc > Troll > Tauren

I don't know or care about alliance races. In any case, the difference between a druid and priest at lvl 60 is about 550 base mana. The difference between races is a point or two of intel.

Well who cares about talents? Idk priests can get 10%, mages can get 10%, Druids can get 20% if they go feral ... which, dunno why feral needs mana.... shaman can get 5% dunno about locks.

But yeah you are right though, I didn't specify about the talent thing.

They don't but the base stats for each race are a little different. For example if you compare tauren to orcs, orcs have more agility and intel whereas tauren have more str and stamina. But the difference is small, and even smaller when gear is added to the eq.
