Hey fools,
been a long time since I've posted here. How are my old pals from EQOA and WoW doing? Looks like you're still pushing through content. I've taken a break from the mmorpgs games but plan on starting up again in aion this september. Any of you guys plan on trying it out?
How many of the old EQOAer's are still playing? (not EQOA, but wow) Are Crawlpappy and Ithryn still around? I actually checked up on the EQOA site a while back and it still there. Slow and almost dead, but still there. Anyhow, I was just thinking about the glory days back on eqoa when we were all noobs and thought I'd give a shout to you all.

Pfft, speak for yourself!Moklidar wrote:Anyhow, I was just thinking about the glory days back on eqoa when we were all noobs and thought I'd give a shout to you all.

Glad to hear you're doing well. I can't believe they still have the EQOA forums, but I did hear they consolidated all the game servers to a single one.
I don't have time at all these days for MMO's, or any games for that matter, so I'm not still playing.

Yep, apparently everyone hangs on CLW. From the few current posts that are up, it seems they gave everyone the option to transfer. It's kind of sad that they just let that game die without any effort to keep it running.

I've been in closed beta for a couple of weeks and it's a well polished game. Looks like good class balance and all. But then again, it should be since it was released in Korea and China a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn't get high enough to play pvp so I missed out on that. Open beta coming up so maybe I'll be able to make it in then.
Sadly, warhammer fell though. It had potential, but I think it suffered from the fact that it was an 80% finished game that they tried to wrap up after release and it didn't go as planned. That and getting zerged in RvR due to disproportionate amounts of people playing order ( I was chaos) and getting steam rolled all the time.
How is WoW fairing after all these years? Is it starting to show it's age yet or is there still much fun to be had?

Hey Mok whats up. Yea I'm still playing. I re-rolled mage -> DK when the expansion hit.
Hard to believe people are still playing EQOA, I don't think my ps2 even works anymore.
I'm fairly optimistic about the upcoming WoW expansion, if they change the layout, look and raid/dungeon content of existing zones it could be pretty cool if done right.
