What is your favorite warlock pet?

If you were leveling an affliction lock, what pet would you be using?
I currently use an imp for stamina buff and dmg, I don't usually fear too much and usually voidwalker can't hold aggro. Any ideas?

I just got my lock to 41 last night, and i've been using the felhunter. Dark pact at this level is like god mode. I send in the felhunter to attack, then i send him to attack a 2nd, and 3rd guy. Those guys are now beating on him, getting the sweet AP debuff he gives them. After he gets to the 3rd guy, i dot up the 1st, and then 2nd. Send the pet to the 4th target, then 5th target. By the time he hits the 5th one, 1st is dead. You might have to heal the pet. Then Dot 3, 4 and then 5, and drain life the 5th guy while 3 and 4 are dying from dots. Liberal use of dark pact and life tap are advised. The only dots i'm putting on the guys are Curse of Agony, Corruption, and Siphon soul.

I had no idea how easy it was, i had been playing carefully and accidentally pulled 2 guys, then got an add, then another add. Had no problem at all. Grinded that way for about an hour, gained a level, and never died. I'm not sure it would work as effective with the VW, cause torment uses quite a bit of mana, and you need that for dark pact. I don't think VW ever is good at holding aggro either. What level is your lock at?

if you have darkpact, go imp, it has the best spirit / regen, if not, then use the succ, best dmg output. if going against casters, puppy is the shiz.

if you are using the fear kite/dot method then use imp w/ tap. you will never run oom.

when i leveled my warlock long long ago, i was aff and used my succy with lash of pain turned off(so she didn't go through her mana at all, leaving it for me) and dotted + drain tanked, using dark pact when necessary. of course, the talents have changed tremendously since I leveled my lock, but it was fun and easy.

felpup is probably the best idea now.

I always used Imp when lvling with affliction because i liked having a ranged pet. My succ sometimes would aggro more mobs than i wanted. the succ will seduce in those cases though, but that means less damage. I also like the stam buff... Imp all the way

I remember listening to borlean, he said he used an imp as a mana battery. I summoned all the diff pets and the imp has one of the largest mana pools and the most spirit. Soooo.. I am currently using an imp w/ fireball off. I just use him for blood pact and for my lil mana battery. So far it's nice, I can get 1200 mana in under 5 seconds from him, and he gains it back about as fast as me drinking. he's also phase shifted so he doesn't pull aggro all the time, which I like.

Use imp when partying or when you can fear and need him for the mana if your specced dark pact..

Got my warlock to 60 just fine like that..
