Agreed. The majority liked it though...I think the first one was definitely the best.

I thought it was probably better than 2, but 1 is still my favorite. It seemed like they were trying to steal a lot of ideas from the other 2 movies. Also, I'm really not a fan of the post-apocolyptic, mad max crap... maybe other people are. The fight with the guy at the end was kind of intense, but they really had kind of an anti-climactic ending, I mean, she didn't even kill him (well, she did, sorta). They really need to get back to the ROOTS of the whole thing. Think of the urban environments in the first 3 games (haven't played any of the others). Escpecially the first one. They really need to make a movie about that.

Also, some of the plot elements were lifted from 28 days later.... well...a lot of it.

Just my opinion!

BTW was the silent hill movie any good?
Putting the 'mental' in Elemental since 2005!
